Ideas for SAHM's in Mckinney

I am listing some of the fun things I have found around the area to do with Tyler during the day.
It gets lonely and boring sometimes being a Stay at Home Mom and I haven't found a specific site that gives you ideas. These things are to remind me of what I can do during the week. I also hope it helps others come up with some ideas to play with your little one.
  • Mckinney Public Library has weekly/daily songs and story time
  • Towne Lake Park to feed the ducks
  • Aviation Park to watch the planes take off and play on the splash pad
  • Stonebridge park for the toddler slides
  • Adriatica lake for a stroll it also leads to the toddler park
  • The Zone for the bounce house
  • Stonebriar and Willowbend Mall for the toddler play area (Willowbend is play area is bigger)
  • Chick-fil-a for free ice cream when you trade in the kids meal toy
  • Mckinney Meetup for playgroups
  • Churches for Mother's Day Out, Connections, and M.O.P.'s groups
  • Kid to Kid to find cheap toys, books, and clothes
  • Lewisville Lake (Hidden Cove) great place for bike rides, picnics and doggy play
  • The Village in Allen for frozen yogurt, shopping, food and playtime in the Texas maze and little town
  • Watter's Creek for shopping, food, and great sculptures for kids to play on.

I sooo want to go the Fire Town in Frisco - we need to get a group together!!! What do you think?
Love the other ideas!!! Thanks for sharing!

We went to the Village in Allen the other evening - it was great - kids between the ages of 16 year olds and 4 year olds - they all had a great time - and said they wanted to return soon!

Yes Jodi I do think we need to do a group thing there. It is really cool. They let the kids tour the station and ride cars through the town. It is free!! Tyler was 16 months when we took him. He would like it a lot better now.
